Proof is Gallery 44’s annual exhibition of photo-based work by Canadian emerging artists reflecting a range of current concerns and practices in contemporary photography. Proof 18 showcases the work of Steven Beckly, Linda-Marlena BucholtzRoss, Jenna Edwards, Tad Hozumi, Mike Andrew McLean and Elise Windsor. The artists in Proof 18 create works that reflect on photography’s inherent faculties, and versatility.
